26 LC250 1958 and 991.2 Turbo S
Picked up my 26 Land Cruiser 1958 last Friday. Just prior I had a 24 Defender Carpathian. 25 Z06 3LZ Z07, and a 25 mx5 club as my track car. I had planned on going single car so I sold all those and got a 911 Turbo S in chalk early January. Winter weather made me cringe getting the Porsche all salty so I decided against the single car and added a somewhat affordable daily. So here we are back to 2 cars. So far I love it. Cloth seats and all. Really thrilled with the 1958 and so glad I went this route over the higher trims. Not even 100 miles on the odometer and the parts are rolling in. My 1958 came with more options than I wanted but I got a great deal. Build included Illuminated door sills, all weather floor and cargo mats, roof rack, tailgate light, and black iforce max badge overlay.

Still haven’t installed the sliders as I haven’t had a chunk of time nor an extra hand. But did get the Slee Heavy Duty Radiator crossmember along with TRD front and rear row hooks. Rear recovery point bolts on but needs some minor plastic trimming. Crossmember is super easy to install. Fits fine with the OEM first edition skids.

Looks great! Can't wait to see pictures once the lift is on.

Really liking your tire setup. That's not a size I see a lot of people run but it's a great middle ground between the usual metric sizes and true 35's. Great rig!!

Still haven’t had time to get the sliders on. But I hated the 1958 tailgate trim in all black plastic. I ordered a new trim piece along with all the little tiny pieces needed for complete install. It’s 11 different parts for a painted complete piece. Also added the tufskinz raised ice cap Toyota lettering

Some jewelry for the LC. I have a Dobinsons lift kit 2.5”/2” with 3 way MRR shocks on order but the springs are still on backorder until mid to late may. But in the meantime I got the billet rear lower trailing arms. Really not needed since I’m only doing 2.5” fronts and 2” rears. But they look amazing.

I want to do this. I hate that plastic trim piece. Are these pieces from eBay? I’ve seen a lot of sellers from Japan. Was it difficult to remove the old piece

these are OEM parts from the dealer. It’s not difficult to do but does require disassembling the interior trim on the tailgate.

There’s a lot of them. I believe like 10 different part no’s. Don’t quote me here but I believe this is correct. Plus you’ll need to paint the garnish. All in will cost you around 430ish plus paint. I’m lucky enough to have a good friend at the dealer that was able to get me situated but this may be cost prohibitive for some.
