1958 "built better" than LC & FE

I don’t get how people can get so invested in talking about watches. They all do nearly the same thing, the conversations about them are just endless nitpicks and pointless debates over an unnecessary luxury item, and the enthusiasts put far to much value on vintage versions versus the modern options being produced.

Anyway, I’m off to the synthesizer forums to debate the intrinsic value of analog sound over digital…

(‘Tis a joke)
Wait just one minute! My Rolex stainless steel Sub, 41mm, no date, is NOT an unnecessary luxury item. However, I did get my Tudor FXD as a beater watch.
*How do I report people on this forum? 😁

It's a high quality, durable cloth designed for rugged use. I have seat covers on my the two front seats. I'm not worried about the back seats. It's not a LEXUS.
Break out the box wine!

*That would be kind of a cool mod, actually.

My Tudor North Flag is built better than your 124060. This is clearly evident from 0 complaints from the community online.

I have a 1958 and I would not say its built "better". Like most ppl have mentioned...less features means less points of failure. Not having a sunroof does not mean our roofs are built better, just means we don't need to worry about a leak in 5-10 years.

I too am a member of the "no sunroof" mafia, except I have a Base, so I'm like a Captain. The 1958 guys are the ones breaking into parking meters.
