Where did you get the parts numbers, TIS doesn't seem to list them anywhere in the instructions.

For the record, Toyota told me that they would get back to me...I'm still waiting. Less than stellar customer service.

I changed the oils recently, and I had the local Toyota parts dept look up the part numbers for the various crush washers and oils.

Yes, they don't have our frame number yet, might take a bit longer before it gets in there but it a valuable reference for most things.

The gaskets are all there you have to look at the correct parts diagram there are multiple diagrams for the xfer case I just linked to the one showing the crush washers, listed as gasket no. 1 in the diagram. There are another two diagrams with all the case gaskets.

• Oil Capacity = 1.22 Litres

Rear Diff:

• 24mm socket for both drain and fill plugs
• Fill plug = 50nm

Edit; I’m sorry I just realized that you got a quantity of 10 each. IDK the quantity on the bag shows 10 but your receipt shows 2,3,1. Dealers probably have a huge mark up.

Yikes, I purchased my gaskets from my usual very overpriced dealer for $10.00 including the tax.

I returned the washers and went to another Toyota dealer that’s about 15 miles from my home (AutoNation Toyota in leesburg Virginia). They sold the same washers for $16.
When I first bought the washers from Ourisman Toyota, I even asked the parts rep if he was selling me 10 quantities for each kind and he assured me that he wasn’t and the prices was correct.
Some dealers are just criminals.

Next project is to change the oil in the transfer case.

Front and rear differential fluid looked clear as if it’s still new, however the drain plugs on both had a little black sludge attached to the magnet. Miles 16,700

For those of you who have done this yourself, what would you say the cost was, including the oil and washers? The Car Care Nut (Ahmed) says you should pay for 30 minutes labor if you take it to a shop (he even has a good video showing how to do it yourself). My mechanic quoted me $150 which I believe is a full hour. I’ve been going to him forever and he’s awesome but I think a full hour seems a little high. But seeing what some of you guys are paying for oil, washers, etc., I’m wondering if I should just have him do it. I don’t have a lift and climbing around under the truck is becoming less fun with every birthday. There’s no way I trust my local dealership. They’re terrible and I’ve caught them cutting corners too many times. But I’ve been changing oil in the LC and it’s super easy. I used to do the gear oils on my 4Runner and it was always easy. But the 4Runner was much easier to climb under than the LC
