Hello Everyone,, new here. After seeing the newer version of the Land Cruiser, my wife decided she wants one for her next vehicle. It will be some time before we can afford it however, I always like to research vehicles. I’ve owned two Tacomas, and a Tundra in the past. I may end up getting a 2000 Tacoma 4x4 in the next couple of years. I currently have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that is lifted and heavily modified, as well as an old 1990 Wrangler as my project toy (I’ll never get rid of it). Wife has a 2025 Honda CRV. She is a nurse and starting her own side business doing Botox injections. Hopefully we can figure out a way to write off the new Land Cruiser when it comes time, I just don’t know much about tax stuff. Anyway, I’ll be posting a handful of questions and researching on here. Thanks

Got my '25 LC on the last day of '25 with the intent of replacing an outdoor mainstay for me, backpacking. I'm a retired automation/controls guy and traded an '18 Taco on the LC. Other vehicles in the garage are a '98 4Runner, a '64 Ford F-100, and a JD 4052. So far on the Land Cruiser, all I've done is tires and wheels- Method rims & Toyo Opencountry ATs, a BamBed cargo leveling set (I hope to sleep inside traveling to/from overlanding places- looking doubtful right now), an 18" folding plastic step stool, and a Dewalt AC compressor with an 120AC adapter (I hope to use this to air up/down tires). The OEM roof rack I'll try to use but it looks pretty much limited for anything to be mounted to the sides or end, I'd be surprised at this point if it doesn't get replaced. So, base of operations is Illinois, favorite operating areas for 4x4ing is west of the plains facing Rockies foothills. First trip is to be Aprilish to Utah and the Four Corners (former CO, UT, ID, OR, AZ resident). Hopefully this will be a good place to both help and get help.

Hello every LC owner and those who are not. I've been utilizing this forum since I bought my LC 250 Premium last June and just now saw this thread. I really appreciate the information I have gotten and hopefully others do as well.

I purchased my 26 LC Premium in December and have put roughly 4,000 miles on it since then. The dealer had installed Rough Country 2" spacers and rear shocks with Readylift UCAs along with 20" Petrol wheels and Mazama (Les Schwab) Open Range A/T Plus tires. The trucks drives very nice and has that "Go Kart" ride I always enjoyed in my '13 FJ. Mileage hasn't been great with the lift/tires, but still around 17 in town and a little better on the highway without too much wind. I've had it out on a couple of easy trails and it is awesome.

Retired Navy. Worked at Raytheon and now retired. Bought this because my BMW X5 wouldn't start, at the dealer for 3 months. I've had Jeeps in stock, modified and lifted. Was only looking at Ford, Chevy and Jeep. I had a 6 inch lifted 1982 Toyota on 35's. I loved going 4 wheeling but now it's 150 miles away. My DIL bought a loaded 4 runner about 2 weeks ago, while researching the 4 Runner I liked the LC looks. Hated the Hybrid cars but I'll give it a chance.

Welcome! I was attached to an F/A-18 squadron for a bit, the PRs were the coolest shop by a long shot, always loved hanging with them. I was an IS1.
