I’m looking for candid feedback regarding the replacement of the dashboard and front door speakers. Like others, I’m trying to avoid those common audio mistakes and stay off the audio mary go round...
I plan on starting with the front four speakers then move on to the rear doors and possibly an amp down the road. I have the skillset to install the speakers but an amp is beyond my knowledge and skills.
I’m strongly considering Focal or JL Audio speakers. Right now I’m thinking about installing the Focal PC 165FE (2 way) at $529 pair or the JL Audio C6 650CW at 299 ea. (single woofer) in the front doors. For the dashboard, I’m considering JL Audio C7-100CT at $300 ea. or Audiofrog GS10 at $319 pair.
