Anyone have a good source for parts like these? It’s not at Blackhawk Japan unless I was just blind. Foreign market GX550h engine cover:

It cleans the engine bay a bit and I like it. Experimenting to see if I can take the logo off and swap it with a Toyota one for a 100% OE cover.

There’s a copy on eBay sans logo that comes in today. Will report back on quality but would prefer the OE version if it’s not going for exorbitant rates.

Oh man wish I knew those existed! That said, the eBay one came in. It's well made, fit well and included all the hardware. Typical of copies, no instructions were included. But anyone with half a brain can probably figure it out.

It does look unfinished without the logo, so on the hunt for a ~123x85mm Toyota emblem.

How often do you actually pop the hood just to admire the engine bay? Personally, I don't see much point in dressing it up.

Yep, Guilty as charged - I have a problem.
I’m old school & like it to look nice. Lots of chrome timing covers, valve covers & air cleaners in the day. The T24A bothered me how bad it looked.

Yes, I do open to check fluid levels - comes w/ having aviation in the blood - check everything.
