Does anyone know what is under the floor on the driver side? In my 2023 Sienna I drilled into the floor to mount a lockbox (narrowly missing the hybrid battery). I don't want to risk doing anything that stupid again, but I would love to be able to put a lockbox /gun safe in front of the drivers seat for when I have to go somewhere I can not legally carry.

You better design / make some custom steel brackets which can attach the locked box to seat mount.
Hope that soon the aftermarket companies can make those safe box for LC just like for Jeep and other vehicles.
I always made some custom works for my G because no aftermarket supported for. I plan to do the same thing for my LC if nothing is available for long time
(If the thefts had enough time and tools, they can broke everything. This kind of locked box for “temporary used” while you away from your vehicle in short amount of time)
I'd be hesitant to say nothing is under the driver's seat floor pan. But the hybrid battery is located on the interior of the cargo area floor. There is a stereo amplifier under the driver's seat, bolted to the floor pan. There are a plethora of lines and wires located under the dvr's floorboard. I went with a different method..... A DIY secure storage box located where the storage cubby used to be, just behind the rear seat. Completely hidden, rubber lined, biometric lock and very securely bolted to the floor using existing threaded holes and some custom built brackets.
I love this solution because of how hidden it is - but isn’t it a PITA to get to?
Not really, other than flipping the rear seat fwd, popping the cubby cover and placing my finger on the sensor. My intent was for "L" shaped devices and monetary items, when I was away from the vehicle and "L" shaped devices are prohibited in the establishment I might be visiting. FYI all federal buildings are non- "L" shaped devices zones....... So the VA, Post offices, Court Houses and depending on your state's CC laws....... schools and establishments that serve alcohol are prohibited.
Good feedback. This is the best solution I’ve seen for when L-shaped tools need to be left in the vehicle.
My “L shape” box also has fingerprints sensor lock for quick access. It mounted to seat mounts with security bolts

Initially I had a bio box cabled to the seat mount, then a friend showed me just how easy the cable is to cut and steal the entire box. That's when I came up with a Mo' Better solution.......LOL
