Hey hey ... New to this forum, I pick up my Land Cruiser in about 10 days or so. The demand for these things is absurd in Orlando. Finding one was not easy. Finding one in the exact color combination was harder. I was able to finally find one in a combo that I did like - Wind Chill Pearl w/ black interior. Went Friday at lunchtime to look at it (the Wind Chill Pearl was even better in person than I anticipated) - Talked numbers. Got close enough on them, said I'd come back in the morning.
And it sold to someone else.
Crazy. Luckily another was on order and already in production so I put a deposit down on it to secure it. Maybe car buying has changed since I bought my last one, or maybe Toyota really is playing the inventory game (keeping levels low) to keep them in a strong position.
Either way, I'm really looking forward to getting this in my garage.
