Many people just go with a spacer lift and call it good, no need for coilovers. Why did many people here not go with a set of Kings Suspension + TC uca ?
It’s superior to me which brings 1000 SPG![]()

Too much maintenance and cost for a system which is not optimal for my use case (slow off-roading).Why did many people here not go with a set of Kings Suspension + TC uca ?

Luckily now there are about a dozen other choices for coilover suspensions. There's even Rough Country for those discriminating drivers that demand qualityI called in and they may warranty it with accompanying videos, but I'm likely going to be out of pocket for reinstallation labour + alignment costs. Absolutely ridiculous when spending thousands on a kit. Should have listened to my local shop and went with Dobinsons, what a shit show.

Just ordered the 6112, not sure if I’ll go 1.1” upfront or 1.5 to achieve level. I’ll keep you posted on what I end up doingSo I have a question for the group. I'm about to embark here soon on my very first off-road build and I'm looking at doing the Bilstein 6112/6100 kit on my LC250. I just want to level the cruiser and am wondering. ONE do I really need to do a front diff drop and TWO will the OEM silver TRD front UCA be fine with light off-roading and mostly daily driving in mind. Only Modification I'll have up front is a C4 bumper with Warn EVO 12S and a BAJA designs S8 20" bar that will effect that front weight a tad. Also why is no one swapping in the OEM Tacoma or 4runner axles instead of doing a diff drop...

If you want it level, my guess is 1.1". 1.5" may be nose high but five minutes and a tape measure will let you know immediately. You want a slight amount of rake if you load the cruiser. Mine was measured with a full tank and all my gear, fridge full, etc. mine is set at 1.65" but I'm running over 150-lbs of bumper and winch, and that got me level. I'm not sure the spring rate and how the coils with the 6112's compare to OEM.Just ordered the 6112, not sure if I’ll go 1.1” upfront or 1.5 to achieve level. Yup I’m going subtle with 1.1” if down the road i want more I’ll upgrade rear shocks and add a half inch spacer then jump the front to 1.5”If you want it level, my guess is 1.1". 1.5" may be nose high but five minutes and a tape measure will let you know immediately.
