They do turn up- I missed out on a set of four on Marketplace complete with tires. The tires were not my first choice and I really wanted a set of five. Another set of four turned up new in box, so I pulled the trigger at a slight discount and bought a fifth from the dealer, sourced my preferred tires for them.

Loving this forum. Thanks “basicxj” and everyone else. I just ordered the TRD Tacoma 18’s. Under $1900 Cdn tax and shipping in.
I am happy with mine so far. One of the lower priced OEM quality options, and the offset brings the tires out to the edge of the wheel wells without being too aggressive and flinging stuff up the sides of the Land Cruiser.
Are you going to swap the TPMS over from your 20" wheels or buy a second set?

I’m shipping the wheels directly to my favorite tire shop and have instructed them to install new TPMS when they build them with the Toyo’s
If you plan on swapping your 20"s back on in fairer weather, suggest to your tire shop that they avoid cloning the TPMS IDs of the 20"s over to your new wheels/tires. The Land Cruiser will recognize two sets of wheels/tires (set #1, set#2 in instrument panel settings). You'll find these in the vehicle settings menu under "TPWS."
Giving them two separate identities will allow you to swap between them at home without reprogramming and have the Land Cruiser recognize them using only the vehicle settings menus.
I hope to try out my Toyos sometime this week, hitting a higher elevation should some snow fall. I got the Open Country AT3 EV version in 275/70/18 and am interested in how they will handle some white stuff. I am liking them in all of the conditions they have seen so far.
Drove mine in the latest blast we got in the Greater toronto area earlier this week and it’s a tank — although it was just a snow ice mix of 1-2” with the Michelins X-ice not a single slip - with 4H eco mode . Even on slightly inclined roads … very stable stance - love it
Good feedback. Out west, we get a dump of snow and it hovers either side of freezing until it turns to slush and makes a mess. It is rare to get a cold snap here that sticks around for weeks at a time (but it happens).
