Introduction

Hello El Choriza and all members. Thanks for allowing me to join. In late June bought a 2027 LC 250 in Inked with Java interior. Had several Toyotas starting with a new Corolla right out of college. Had a 4Runner for 19 years as my primary car and put over 340K miles on it. Three years ago when the head gasket blew on the hwy, my wife and I decided on a rx350…but that car did not “feel like me.” It’s then that I realized how much I really missed my 4Runner, and it was time to trade-in that car. I love the LC and often find myself turning my head after I park it to take a second look! Plan to keep it for many years/miles! Looking forward to learning from everyone and helping whenever I can.

Congrats on the new truck! If you loved the 4Runner for so many years I’m not surprised the Land Cruiser felt like home. Let’s see some pics!

I would be interested to see a close up of Inked with the sun hitting a panel. Online photos don't show much of the tones in the paint.

No doubt, likewise, even though after 2 years ownership, I still sometimes turn my head for second look of my FE . Too much love or it’s too handsome or BOTH

Thank you very much. I’ll work on getting a closeup of the paint in the sun. I tried this morning but my phone/camera does not do a good job at all. When I look at paint in the sun I can see the deep black and all the metallic flakes really stand out as the sun catches each flake. It looks great and I’m very happy with it. However it comes out flat black in the photos. I will ask my friends on setting suggestions and post a photo if I can get a good/accurate photo.

Thanks. The 4Runner was the 4th generation (2005).

Congrats! How do you like Inked?

Really like the inked with the metallic flakes. Waiting to see how the dirt shows up on it since it’s a dark color. So far I haven’t let it get too dirty so the jury is still out.
