My black LC just arrived at the dealership in MT and we are doing some upgrades. They have recommended the 17" Method 316 (matte black) and LT275/70R17 Falken Wild Peak tires. Also adding a 1.75" level kit.

I would love to hear your thoughts/experience on (1) the pros / cons of 17" versus 18" wheels and (2) the Falken Wild Peak tires. Also, any suggestions on lift kit (front and back) v. level kit (front)?

Also, I am thinking about the C4 Front Lo-Pro Winch Bumper (Land Cruiser Front Lo-Pro Winch Bumper / 250 Series / 2024+) and also heard that Ironman is coming out with a front bumper/winch. Thoughts?

Thanks so much and I will post pictures when it is done!

17” is too close for me and it’s why Toyota doesn’t recommend anything smaller than 18” wheels. You can run the risk of something catastrophic happening. I preferred a 17” but I went with 18” due to tight clearances.

Welcome to the club and also to the fun part of trying to figure out what modifications to make, if any. I have been reading on the pros and cons of various changes like wheel size and lifts.
From what I can tell 17" wheels will work OK and increase the range of tire sizes available. But as @TN-LC250 says above they come with 18" so I think I am sticking with that just to be safe.
As for lift vs leveling - I feel like I would rather have a small lift front and rear. But have seen leveling kits that look great and allow for the larger tires with no rubbing.

I have heard the same about Ironman. They have a couple of prototypes working now.

Wild Peaks. I have had them on 3 vehicles. The SL versions wore super fast and were not great on snow and ice, they use a different compound. I switched to Toyo AT3s on my 4R in 255 and love them. On the other two the WPs are still going strong years later and are much better in slick conditions
