I have been playing with the idea of putting lights up on my rack. Where do you plan to run the cable from? I have the oem FE rack so running it from the rear hatch in the only option I can find.Today was mount Diode Dynamic Rock Lights on my Victory 4x4 roof rack. I still need to wire them up but I am 3D printing cable holders so I can zip tie them up.
Diode Dynamics rock lights use these small cables and they have a 4 way spitters so I am going to run one 3 conductor 16 awg wire from the 4 way spitter down the driver side windshield trim into the engine bay.I have been playing with the idea of putting lights up on my rack. Looks great! I live pretty close to this shop and was wondering how much that set you back?First step of Expo prep is completed. Went with a 3M gloss black wrap on the roof and an A-pillar forward XPEL PPF full front end coverage.View attachment 3224View attachment 3225View attachment 3226
Ah! I have the same compressor… i would love to do this. Didnt know this connection format existed. did you just cut off the terminal clamps of the viair and put on a different connector?12v Powerpole outlet connected to rear battery and fused at 40 amps. (My compressor is a Viair 400P with a maximum current draw of 30 amps.)

Installed new hood struts today. Very easy, and so much nice now to open the hood and not have to hold up while getting the arm.
Yes, cut the Viair cord and crimped on 30amp Anderson Powerpole connectors to mate with the outlet. Added Powerpoles to the removed alligator clamp cords, too, so the compressor can still be used with the alligator clamps.Ah! I have the same compressor… i would love to do this. Source for that?Because I have things that will only operate on USB-A that I still like using… two USB QC ports.
Couldn’t find a flush mount dual USB-A port that fit in the space, but I will keep looking and replace this one if I find one I like better.

If you want something that looks more like it came with the truck, you could use this QC3.0 USB dual socket and install 2 or more of them using this replacement switch panel with space for up too 3 additional square (22x22) switches or charge ports. Would look completely OEM.Because I have things that will only operate on USB-A that I still like using… two USB QC ports.
