🛠️ What Have You Done To Your LC250 Today?

Went a little different direction than the black wheel trend. Original 20” wheels powdered coated white. Also, added the black and silver 4 Wheel Drive emblem, door sill protection plates, silicone skin over the console with storage bins on each side, full length silicone storage bin on the passenger side dash, hood lift struts and offroam phone holder base with 67 Designs phone holder attached.
I am liking the white rims! Looks good!

Just had the front window clear tinted for UV protection, sun roof, all the windows and rear hatch, doesn’t look like it in the pics, but all legal. Had them use ceramic tint

Tinted front windows will be my first MOD to my LC. Tomorrow I hope to get an estimate. May I ask what is the major benefit to the ceramic tint?

Upgraded the roofrack, along with wheels and tires.
Wheels: ROH Raid 17x9 +35
Tires: BFG KO3 285/70/17
Fuel economy is tbc, but i can confirm, no rubbing on stock OEM suspension.
For the spare wheel i kept the factory rim, and replaced the wheel with a Cooper AT 4s 275/65/18 as this is roughly 2% difference in diameter and would work as an emergency spare. My reasoning was that i didnt like the spare hanging low and negatively affecting my departure angles.
Ended up with the FrontRunner SlimSport roofrack, basically because it was the only thing available in Dubai, and all the other shops make custom racks, but dont like the look and dont trust all them that well.

What’s the price difference in Dubai between lc250 and 300?

1. Blocks about 90% of heat depending on how dark you go. (I did 20% to match the rear.)
2. Looks badass.

Looks great

Amazon? Ordered the same ones. Fit was pretty exact? Any issues w them at all?
Fit was pretty much extract. The one for the back seats foot well covers the tunnel and tucks under the back seats slightly. So that took a tiny bit of work, but now it’s all great. I like the way it all feels. I just haven’t 3d printed a replacement badge for the driver mat yet to replace the brands badge.

Edit, yes Amazon.

Ceramic window tint offers superior heat rejection, UV protection, and durability compared to traditional tints. You get this protection regardless of how deep a tint you get. Even 70% tint will provide this protection.

To get the best protection, you need to add the ceramic window tint on every window, including the windshield, moonroof, and any factory tinted windows. The factory tinted windows won’t have ceramic tint. If you do every window, you will feel a difference when parked in the sun for long periods of time. I always do 70% for the windshield which is the closest to clear you can get. Works great.

Heat rejection..

Attached photos are parts of my setups for Overlanding. Some of them were shared in my other posts which you can search for them if you like.

Soon, I will share the completed/entire setups with:
• Rooftop tent (Ikamper mini)
• Hitch-mount spare tire carrier: 33” OK3 tire, extra fuel+water, recovery boards Maxtrax, license plate with light, etc.
• Side panels with extra fuel / water + shovel/ etc.
• All AC lights: rock lights, bumper light bar, ditch lights, front roof spot lights, side lights, chasing lights
• Control panel / switch panel for all AC lights
• ARB side awning
• ARB built-in air compressor
• Drawer system , fridge slider

As a designer and off-road / off-grid camping person, I utilized all available stuffs to customize for my taste / uses.
I learned and did those over years with my Gwagon for same purposes above without much after marker gears manufactured for it. (See my gwagon photos for my previous custom works)

I see your side panels are Victory 4X4. Their website says they will not work with OEM rack. How did you make them work? Any special modifications?
