My LCLC was stolen in Manhattan NY this morning. I was able to recover it using AirTags hidden in the vehicle. I keep one bait AirTag visible in the cup holders and another hidden. The thieves found the bait AirTag and tossed it but didn’t find the hidden one. Looks like they stashed the LC in a rough area of the Bronx to “cool-off”. I was able to recover it just a few hours later but the thieves made an absolute mess of the dash and center console and broke a window. They cut a bunch of wires going to the hard-drive looking module in the center console. Took the LC to the dealership and filed police and insurance reports. It sucks that we cannot have nice things. I’ll need to invest in more anti-theft deterrents.
