at minimum owners should go check and make sure the clip is seated correctly, I checked mine and it looks good.. I also saw a yellow mark which indicated quality checked/inspected.. until the recall I do plan to put a cross zip ties for my own peace of mind.. and will keep an eye on it..

Underbody Hydroplaning & Water Force: A notable issue reported by LC250 owners involves driving through heavy rain, standing water, or deep puddles at speed. The high-pressure spray underneath the vehicle forced off the plastic retaining clip on the main chassis fuel feed line (located above/near the fuel tank). Once the clip popped out, fuel pressure forced the connector apart, causing immediate power loss and raw fuel spraying under the truck.
Incomplete Locking During Assembly or Service: In factory assembly or after dealer maintenance, if the technician doesn't hear the internal "click" and push the orange safety clip fully down, the connector can ride on the ridge of the hard line. It might hold for hundreds of miles, but eventually, engine vibration or fuel pressure surges pop it loose.
