I'm not really sure. I haven't had a chance to look up the build dates on the filing. When I asked ChatGPT (eye roll) it picked up someone in Canada with a 2027 Land Cruiser reporting the recall in their app. I've noticed a reporting lag sometimes. I think the recall notifications go out in waves.is the new recall for everyone or some vehciles? Mine is 2025 Base(the fuel fluid thing) is their a TSB ? My phone app does not work anymore (dont ask why)
My app is reporting it. 2025 1958. NHTSA is yet to report, but that typically shows the depth of impact. Given the range of people reporting (1958 and LC-trim), and the 2024-2027 language, the only thing we are really waiting to hear is if it is all or Hamura builds. If anyone with an FE or Tahara build can chime in with a yay or nay we could reasonably make that best guess.is the new recall for everyone or some vehciles? looks like all LC according to the number 106K in the press releaseIf anyone with an FE or Tahara build can chime in with a yay or nay we could reasonably make that best guess.
I guess as long as we don’t smell gasoline we should be ok until they start doing the repair, supposedly is just a clamp.Hey, just an FYI, an interim notice for another recall just popped up in my app today. It looks like an inspection and clamp if needed on the fuel tube connection which could result in a fuel leak.
The symptoms were significant for those who reported, but yes. The language of the interim recall notice also states “…or, if necessary, replace the resin fuel tube and install the clamp, at no cost.” Time will tell, but I’d add to watch for overnight leaks on the ground.I guess as long as we don’t smell gasoline we should be ok until they start doing the repair, supposedly is just a clamp.
