Roof Rack Options and Load Ratings

Went with the prospeed rack. It’s been good for the ski & board racks, will have some more cargo up there in the summers.View attachment 24905
Hi, Do you have any more pics of the snowboard rack on the prospeed? I'm trying to figure out if there's enough space for the bindings if the board is mounted upside down (when carrying 4). Thanks!

@TrailWhale this thread is awesome. I finally made my decision after lots of mental back-and-forth between the Victory 3/4, Sherpa and (not on your list) Bison Gear OX PRO. I chose the Bison Gear OX PRO based on my very positive experience with their rear cargo system and excellent customer service. Out of Poland, so shipping lead times are the only real drawback. In case you want to add it to your list:

Price: $1,700

For those that want more functionality than the OEM rails and cross bars, I added the Victory 4x4 cross bars to my roof rails. I didn't want the look or weight of a full roof rack, yet I wanted something that I could use to carry loads on the roof.

The Victory cross bars are position less, you can mount them anywhere on the rails. They are slotted, so things can be easily bolted/attached to them. I like the look as well as the Victory bars are flat and low profile....adding additional (approx) 9/16" above the roof rails.

This solution works well for me. I got 2 but I'll probably add a 3rd one eventually. 3 of these are about the cost of the 2 OEM cross bars.
Can you share some pictures please? Thanks!
