Noticeable, but not bad. I went from a naked roof so can't compare to OEM rack but it does seem to be a lower profile with air dam touching roof.

I have the OEM rails and cross bars. I leave the cross bars off until I need something. Looking for a better solution.
I’m really interested in the ARB BaseRack for the 250 series—its ultra-low profile is my top priority. I also prefer the aesthetic of a Front Runner / older Eezi-Awn style platform over the more modern stamped Prinsu-style racks (but hey, to each their own 
).
That said, I’ve had no luck getting any details from ARB USA—their customer service and website don’t seem to have any info on availability or part numbers.
Meanwhile, ARB Japan has shared quite a bit about this rack option, including dimensions. It looks like it is the standard 72x51" BaseRack (ARB PN 1770030). However nothing about the fitment kit.
Does anyone here have any intel on availability or specs?

Thats a nice rack. Does it not have t-slots for mounting brackets etc.?

I like that look too. It’s like the OEM GX rack but looks to give back 3 or 5 inches of clearance versus that one. The GX rack is a complete non-starter for me as I think I’d be at 7’5” with my FatCat up there with skis on it, which is about 4 inches more than will fit in the Lionshead parking garage. Which is most likely where I am going if that stuff is on top of my truck.

Reply I got back from ARB USA:
"Hello, that rack has not been released to the public yet at this time. That is a prototype. The 1770010 is just the rack platform, which is available as those fit multiple applications, but the fitting kit for it to the LC specifically is the part that hasnt been released as of yet. (we actually havent released anything to the public yet on the new LC250). We are looking at March 2025 for that kit to be released and hopefully in stock in the US"
However, I do not think the roof attachment points will differ between regions, so I'm not sure why a US-specific product would need to be developed.

Have you had any issues with the butyl tape and bonded sealing washers? Also what size bonded sealing washers did you use?
I built a flush roof rack using aluminum tubing from Lowe’s. Total cost around $90 and took 2 hours or so. L angle mounted to the roof rails, and then 1” square tube to span between the rails.

I have the factory 3/4 rack and am starting to dislike the lack of mount points that are useful — does anyone have experience with the prinsu, wescott or dissent ones? I would value the higher load ratings also.
Yes that roof rack is pretty bad. I couldn’t find anything good J can say about it.
Roof rack itself is an ecosystem Toyota could’ve monetize by selling proprietary accessories. But not only they did not do it but also they make sure it is the least useful as a roof rack.

Yeah it looks good, but pretty superficial beyond that.
I am leaning towards the Rago one now -- seems to be very well designed and has a lot of modularity. Plus I like the look of their molle pattern, the Wescott ones look a little ugly to me.
Does anyone have the Prospeed Rack? 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser (Prado LC 250) Prospeed Roof Rack. It looks pretty sweet as it appears very low profile.
I just did a search and see there are a few posts of users sharing photos and their thoughts on the Prospeed rack.
KC platform one rack is out now. Bit pricey but has a ton of additional add on capabilities and load rating exceeds OEM roof load (not sure what the roof load spec is though).

For those that want more functionality than the OEM rails and cross bars, I added the Victory 4x4 cross bars to my roof rails. I didn't want the look or weight of a full roof rack, yet I wanted something that I could use to carry loads on the roof.
The Victory cross bars are position less, you can mount them anywhere on the rails. They are slotted, so things can be easily bolted/attached to them. I like the look as well as the Victory bars are flat and low profile....adding additional (approx) 9/16" above the roof rails.
This solution works well for me. I got 2 but I'll probably add a 3rd one eventually. 3 of these are about the cost of the 2 OEM cross bars.

How are the brass washers holding up as far as discoloration? Could you share the size you used? I like this look. One thing I wonder is if putting a nylon washer in between the brass and the aluminum roof rack would be a good idea to prevent galvonic corrosion between the dissimilar metals. Maybe I'm overthinking it?
Holding up great, haven't taken them off since or moved them but the powder coating is pretty good on the rack and I would not expect any galvanic corrosion unless the brass washer was touching bare metal. I considered using nylon washers behind it to avoid any marring but I thought it would look strange and make the bolts stick out even farther. I doubt black nylon would be difficult to source.
Not exactly sure what size I purchased, I bought them at Ace Hardware but you could find them at McMaster and size exactly as you wanted.
