Do you mind sharing a front or back pic that will give me an idea how much the 275 sticks out from the sides? I have 265 now but leaning towards a 275 or 285

If you're not changing wheels, the difference between 265 and 275 is negligible.
5mm or .2" per side.
Double that for 285.

Has anyone switched from the Ridge Grappler to the Terra Grappler (both SL)? I have the port installed RGs but they’re getting loud and rough at 20k miles. Interested in the TGs in 275/70/18 because of the size but am wondering if there is a significant improvement in road noise and ride quality going from the RG to the TG. If not, probably going to just do the Dueler Ascent AT.

I’ve read every possible review on this forum and elsewhere so really just looking for anyone with real world experience that has made the switch from RG to TG.

I just did the swap you're talking about. I went from 20inch RG to 18inch TG. I put 25k miles on the 20inch stock setup because i thought the wheels and tires looked awesome. At 25k the tires were loud (i didn't notice until the swap) and i was slipping in the rain. Recently found the wheels I've always wanted on sale so i made the change. The new TG's are not as loud as the old RG's and the ride is very smooth. My wife and sons have said they also noticed that it was smooth and quiet as well. The last few weeks in Texas we have had a lot of rain and i haven't fish tailed at all.. The new 275/70/18 tires also feel more "grounded", not sure I'm describing it well but, "sure footed" maybe(placebo?)? Overall, I'm very pleased with the tires and the new wheels. The wheels also give a little poke (45 offset) and i love the stance now. ALSO- mpg’s are a little BETTER!! I got 23mpg on a trip to San Antonio this past weekend.

Appreciate all of the feedback. I ended up with a screw in my tire yesterday morning. Rather than plugging it I just called my local Discount Tire and they were able to get the TG’s in 275/70/18 same day. Picked it up last night and drove 30ish miles around town for some errands.

My 10 year old daughter immediately commented how much quieter it was in the truck and the ride is so much better. Didn’t realize how bad the RG’s were until switching (like everyone has said).

Very pleased so far and hopefully they wear well. I ended up doing the spare also so going to try a 5 tire rotation plan for a bit to hopefully help with wear and noise as they age.
