I always now cut it short and have never overtopped again. I’m only getting maximum 250 miles per tank ever, no matter how conservative I drive, an extra 30 miles is huge, especially considering I am putting on 600 to 700 miles a week. Thanks for the advice though . And I agree, never, ever a good idea to overtop.
