To make the lines more consistent, you might want to consider some wide-body flares.Do you think these 285 tires poke out too much? My 12 year old son loves them jury is still out with me.
Thanks I'm most of the time a OEM dude might size down to 275 - jury out.To make the lines more consistent, you might want to consider some wide-body flares.
Nice!!! Iโm down to only one now, a 2007 R1200 GS Adventure, my first. I gave the other three away to the kids. Though I saw the new 1300 GS Adventure a few weeks ago and I am jonesing for one of those now.I see you like BMW Motorcycles I just rode all 5 of mine = my wife thinks I should be in asylum

Appreciate it - thanks.Welcome to the LC Brotherhood !![]()
Thanks for the chart - dealer said I could use OEM spare if needed so I guess they are pretty close in size. Probably weigh 20lbs more than stock even with lighter 17 inch wheels. I think my tires 53 lbs - wheels 31 lbs.Welcome aboard! (Apparently I have a Prius!).
Your mileage sounds similar to mine early on. The tires you have aren't radically different than stock, mostly just wider.

I would guess that your mileage will sneak upward for the next 7500-10K miles?
Like you said, my LC and I are still posers. The LC is in an "identify as a Prius" phase prior to a pending trip to the SW. Still doing more mods in the interim. Again, welcome!
