New Landcruiser! - New England

Hi all - new member here and excited to finally be getting into a Land Cruiser. Toyota has always treated me well - previously owned an ’09 4Runner Sport and a ’15 4Runner Trail. Looking forward to learning from the group.
Got that exact vehicle 2025. I think you will be pleased.

Welcome to the LC250. Previously ‘16 4Runner the ‘21 Highlander now ‘24 LC 250. Love it. Took some getting used to the smaller 2.4L and the sound. 🤣 Got mine late March. Loving it here in New England. Only modification is the Sound system - New Amplifier, new speakers Mesh to control bugs from entering the radiator etc.

Nice. Western MA. Still getting used to it. Very different from previous LCs. It really needs getting used to for sure. I am clocking 26.1 mpg on 41.5 mile commute but that Average mpg throws me off at 20.6 mpg. I wish it always display the current mpg. Please share any tricks as I am new to the LC250 as well. Thanks.

Love it! I was thinking about putting in a new sound system. Haven't considered the mesh but definitely adding on the list.

Welcome. Yessss…..they look majestic. I see very elegant colors on the new LC 250s. Toyota really did it this time. It is a complete switch from the older LCs with quite a learning curve on these. Enjoy it well.

What do people in New England do with their land cruisers?

I know you can buy a beach pass and drive on the beach at the cape.

Is there anywhere else to go relatively close to Boston that we can use these things off pavement?

I'll mostly use my over-sand permit for the beach. If you want to push it off road I would head north to NH, and check out Jericho Mountain.
