New to Land Cruiser but not Toyota

New used-LC owner here from Georgia. After totaling my 2022 4Runner TRD ORP recently, and driving possible 5th Gen replacements, there’s no 4Runner that could replace my beloved Silver Bullet. I maintained it from new and did a lot to make it my own. So I’m off to a new adventure with a 2024 LC 1958. Looking forward to learning a lot from the forum.

It is a shame your 4Runner was taken before its time, but the Land Cruiser platform is pretty sweet. I tried to find a gently used previous generation 4Runner before putting a deposit down on our Land Cruiser but they were selling above MSRP. I had driven the previous gen 4Runner, and while I haven't spent as much time with one as you have, I was a little shocked at how effortless the Land Cruiser drives on the highway in comparison.

Thanks! 5th Gen 4Runners are in such high demand and prices are so elevated that I could roll into the LC for just a few thousand $ over what insurance is paying me.

Thanks! Meteor shower. It’s a great color. In my price range I found either that or white. Didn’t want white or black. Here’s the dealer pic. We’re picking it up this Saturday. Can’t wait!

Great color! It changes character under different light conditions. The only premium color offered on the 1958 for sure. You’ll love it.
