Mic not working on J250

Can’t believe that a Jetour T2 ia 100k cheaper, has more features and works better than a Toyota.
I think Toyota should be very very concerned about their reliability and competition!!!!

I experienced the same issue after purchasing my vehicle from Al Futtaim on SZR. After numerous back-and-forth calls, I was eventually asked to bring the car in for a software update and to have new microphones retrofitted in the roof liner. So far, this has resolved the problem for me. Unfortunately, a contact of mine in Oman is still facing the same issues. From what I understand, Al Futtaim is still conducting tests to address this.

Same Issue here, I bought the car in Dubai Festival City Showroom,

Over head mics just decorations.

Out of curiosity, are all of you guys driving GXLs? Haven't had this issue on my Adventure, also bought from Al Futtaim. From the pics and vids I've seen of the GXL interior, it seems that they have a different infotainment system to the one on the Adventure (and on US spec LCs) even though GXLs have the bigger screen. Not sure if they're Toyota systems or something being retrofitted by the dealer here.

I've got the GXR - Was an impulsive purchase, went to look at the 250, and someone cancelled their allocation.. next thing i knew i had a new prado

Rcvd mine March 2025 - Same issue with Mic and calls voice quality- Toyota UAE don’t have an answer or fix yet for me surprised to see better voice quality in Toyota smallest car models and not a landcruiser
