Thanks for sharing all of the details of your issues. I am sorry you are dealing with this. I hope when you get it back you will have a like-new land cruiser that will serve you well for many trouble-free years to come.
Thank you! I have always kept my vehicles for a long time, and I bought my LC with reliability, longevity, and ease of access to parts and servicing in mind. Hoping this is a one time glitch in this goal . . .

Usually,
• if 1 problem happened, it will be “100 times” echoed every where (in all media channels and mouth spendings), especially, from haters, It will be “thousand times” repeated 😜
• if good things happened, all will be volume down

Up to today, we have 5,690 LC owners / members joined here in our forum.

Just looked into the problem reported / survey in this thread:
The major problems counted / reported is just 1 over my only right hand fingers (confirmed: I have 5 fingers of 1 hand as human from earth 😆 Not alien)
Minor problems counted / reported are dozens here and there including dozens of “backup brake noise 😜
I understand that the report will be raised more….But…But…as I mention in my 1st paragraph….”1 problem will be echoed 10-100 times everywhere”

Those small amounts of problems reported up to today over 5,690 LC in this forum ——> We are all GREAT 👍. Love and enjoy your LC

Is there anyone here whose brakes have never squeaked? ...if that one counts as one of these problems.
I believe I may of heard mine do it once in the 8,500 miles I’ve driven it.

One man's major problem is another man's minor annoyance.

I don't want to jynx myself, but our Land Cruiser has been pretty awesome so far in the first 5000+ km. I have had one thing I'd consider to be a problem, but it was more once of my own doing (new wheels/tires/TPMS sensors that wouldn't stay registered) and that was resolved with a little experimentation and the Carista app to clear errors.

The tire pressure initially showed for all five new wheels and tires, then dropped pressure for the spare. On longer drives it would throw an error and then the dash would light up with "see your dealer." The low tire pressure icon stayed lit on the dash.

I could have made a stink and gone back to the dealership that installed the wheels/tires/TPMS, but I learned something in the process.

Mine were quiet until 10k miles. Now at 12k miles they have become really loud. Given that the TSB is covered under basic 3 yrs / 36k miles warranty, I'll wait until I get close to the warranty expiration and get them replaced then. Free brake job at 35k miles sounds like a good deal.

Me too. First 4Runner - 315K miles and was still going when I sold. Second 4runner 250K miles when I was hit and totaled. 3rd 4Runner sold for same amount that I purchased it for after 7 years (TRD Pro w low miles), and got this LC.
I rolled the dice a bit with the technology and hybrid on this, but hoping it works out, or that a few bumps along the way will be worth it in long run.

Haha. Super rich driving their vehicles into the ground! I hate car payments, and become attached to these things. Also why change if not broken.

Yes, my brakes have never squealed. Next….

No issues with my LC at all. How about that box please.

Can we have a bickering/internet conjecture category for 500 Alex?

Wind shield wipers both sides leaving a lot of grime from day one and Occasional brake squeal in reverse on 7k Blue. Battery compartment air filter alarm at 15k on Traildust. Android phone inconsistent connection issues on both.

Battery compartment air filter alarm at 15k on Traildust. .
Battery filter is not a defect or failure. Inspection and replacement of the battery filter is a maintenance item, just like oil change or engine filter replacement.

Just maintenance mileage info on the filters. Removed and vacuumed, reinstalled.
