Leather Seat Crease

Well, if you are determined to part ways with your Land Cruiser a silver lining would be decent resale value.

I have had much more trouble with brand new vehicles than you describe (I am talking about YOU Volkswagen). I wish you luck whatever you decide.

Wireless CarPlay can be buggy, even with high-end aftermarket radios. You do have the option of wired CarPlay should you prefer.
I was a toyota fan boy. I still have a 2001 toyota sequoia sr5 (my daily driver) with 300K miles and still going strong. But after spending 70K on a car and having these issues just pisses you off (not talking about tech stuff, as that can be updated).
Just not sure about the quality of the new toyotas now.
I would buy a GX but its front end is horrendous.

FWIW, I had lots of issues with CarPlay in both of my prior vehicles, each a late model BMW. Sold both after two years of ownership and now have this, which I cannot imagine selling.

Oh the happy note since they did such a bad job with the seat cover, they actually did the Break Squeal TSB.

WOW, sounds like what you really need is a good Enema...Live in Illinois?? There is a bandit there. I saved that one for post #100

Leather is REALLY easy to take care of.

Not sure what you are trying to say without even understanding the issue.
But after looking at your responses on other unrelated threads, it seems like you like to interject and provide your "expert" opinion on everything and get argumentative.
I will pass on any new conversations that your are a part off or maybe ignore those threads.

Don’t want to be a Karen, but we are on a great forum with our terrific new LC’s. I’m going to presume good intentions for folks, but the pointless snark that arises sometimes proves me wrong and is equally unhelpful and ridiculous. So much to say on this but try the effing Golden Rule. If you can’t weigh in helpfully without denigrating someone else then STFU and get off the forum. Most people here are and want to be helpful and that’s what this is for. Social media is there for the a-holes that need to be a-holes.

In this vein, what has been folks experience with Katzkin? Another product? When the time comes, and sadly/apparently not too far distant, I fear LC owners will be facing replacement.
I recommend Katzkins. Replaced my cheesy "Premium" seats back in April 2025. Katzskins has a bevy of recommended installers. Locals around Kalispell did not want to mess with it. I used one of the recommended installers in Helena, MT, for my 1 day install. They knew what they were doing and were quite professional.

Photos are always good 😉

You can easily “ignore “ a forum member altogether. Click on their signature, their info pops up and at the bottom you can select “follow, ignore, start conversation “, it works well.

Interestingly, Android Auto works fine on my G20 BMW M340i (daily driver) after an update to Android Auto a while ago now.

I have always found BMW tech to be pretty solid and generally updates are released at an expected pace.

Toyota may never release a software update or only every few years.

I check weekly in GTS+ and to date there are no new infotainment calibrations (firmware updates) for my '24 LC as an example.

Compared to last week where BMW released via OTA its third update of the year, which notes improved BMW Driving Assistance Professional package (BMW speak for adaptive cruise control and lane tracing, plus handsfree driving under certain conditions).

With that said, I genuinely like my LC way more than I ever imagined, I find myself choosing to drive it even when I don't need the extra space or capabilities that it has, it is a pleasure to spend time in.
