We’re NINTHX, and we wanted to share a small exterior styling option for the Land Cruiser 250 and hear what owners think.

The LC250 already has a strong shape, so you don’t necessarily need a full body kit to give it a more individual look. Sometimes a smaller detail is enough to change how the truck comes together.

Our fender side vent trim covers add a gloss black accent to the front fender area. They’re made from ABS plastic and come as a left-and-right pair for the LC250.

The appeal is the contrast: on a lighter body color, the black trim can make that section stand out; on a darker truck, it can become part of a more coordinated exterior theme. For owners already adding black accents elsewhere, it’s another detail to consider without committing to wider fenders or a larger styling package.

A few basics:

  • Designed for the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 / Prado LC250
  • Gloss black ABS construction
  • Left and right trim covers included
  • Aftermarket exterior styling accessories
We’re sharing these as a visual modification, with no claims of improved cooling or engine performance.

You can see the product photos and details here:

Curious to hear your take: does this detail suit the LC250’s boxy styling? Would you choose gloss black, or would a textured matte finish work better with the factory trim?

Feedback on the shape and finish is welcome, including from anyone who prefers to keep this area stock.

Dr. Ian Malcolm said it best way back in 1993. “Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to ask if they should.”

Never mind the fact that this was already done by quite a few already. What are you guys working with over there? Reminds me of my single-digit aged daughters and their Bambu Lab.

Some people will like that kind of thing. I get what they’re going for.
I’m not a fan of gloss black though.

I have seen a number of vehicles on the road with stick-on accessories installed. Some vehicle owners eat that sort of thing up, not that there is anything wrong with that.

I am more of a K.I.S.S. principal kind of owner in that form should follow function. One exception I'll make is when there is a heritage component to the part i.e. installing a vintage inspired decal or piece of trim from an earlier iteration of a vehicle that has been around a while.

The “accessories” aisle of every automotive store seems to stay well-stocked with stick on stuff, so there seems to be a big market for it.

I believe Toyota applies something similar to the LC-250 in other markets. To each their own. I prefer the clean look of the LC as is.

Stuff looks cool to me when it has actual function. But I agree, to each their own.
