We’ve been working on a front grille bug screen kit for the 2024–2026 Prado / LC250 and wanted to share it with the forum.
The idea is pretty simple: keep bugs, leaves, and loose road debris from collecting behind the large grille openings without making the front end look overly modified.
The kit includes seven pieces in total—three molded ABS grille sections and four stainless-steel mesh inserts. The grille sections are designed to clip into place and can be removed when the mesh needs cleaning. We’re offering both matte black and gloss black finishes.
A few photos are attached below showing the complete kit, the mesh and retaining clips up close, and how it looks installed.
One important fitment note: the kit was designed around the Prado LC250 grille shown in the photos. Since grille layouts can vary between trims and markets, please compare the shape and openings with your vehicle before ordering. We’d especially appreciate feedback from North American LC250 owners about the different grille configurations.
This isn’t the most exciting modification in the world, but for anyone dealing with love bugs, leaves, or a lot of highway driving, it may save some cleanup later.
