Interior Trim Removal

I may have missed it, but I'm unsure what you are installing. It would make a difference on my advice on routing. I have wires routed along the driver's side trim panels/door sill plates/headliner and others routed under the center console/under the carpet/under the cargo floor and exiting through the rear hatches accordion boot to an external antenna .

This involves the wiring for the parking sensors.
I have to run the wires from under the driver's steering wheel to the front and rear bumpers.
I think I know where to route the front ones, and for the rear ones, I was going to run them through the lower door frames, next to the carpet, by removing the plastic panels all the way to the trunk—where the jack is used to lift the car—but from there, I don’t know how to route them to the inside of the rear bumper.

Here is a video on installing a stereo amp, It is a most excellent guide to remove the dash components. Starting at 1:10 mark.

I used that video to install their amp. It’s very good. Removing the dash components was a little intimidating but everything came off and went back on fine.

My advise would be one of two............

If you run the wires across the lower dash under the trim panel (be careful to not run them in front of the knee bolster air bag) behind the footwell kick panel and under the door sills (it is tricky to feed the wires between the two, at the "B" pillar but possible). If you pop off the hybrid air filter cover and pop out the front edge of the cargo side trim panel (no need to completely remove) You can then use a heavy "fishing" wire and thread that from the 12v battery access opening over the wheel arch and out of the trim panel that was popped out above. Attach the wires and fish them to the 12v battery area. Removing the 3rd row cup holder facilitates this. Below is a picture of mine with the entire panel removed when I did my 12v breakout mod (not necessary).

The second choice would be ti fish the wires under the center console, under the carpet, around the hybrid battery and end up in the same place as above. I also ran wires using this method.

Regardless of which route you decide. in the "D" pillar there are some gromets that might be able to be used to route the wires to the exterior of the cabin (I'm not sure). Or you could drill a hole in the floor and install a waterproof gland. I used one for my extension cord pass through....
