Great job Toyota . The new Kia telluride comes with higher ground clearance and better offroad tires, and the rear seats fold completely flat

Watch this instead. Enjoy and learn new things to inspire your LC life
I ignore all whining and BS ;)
Happy LC to all millions LC owners 😜
My LC is for SPG not MPG 😜

So far just 33 inch takeoffs from an upper trim on my 1958. I've owned many, many Toyota 4wd's over the years, including the previous 3 generations of Landcruiser and Toyota knocked it out of the park with this one. Powertrain, ride, seating position all superb. Also, love the look, and the back to basics interior of the 58.

Looks great.
Here you go, guys and gals
Forget about KIA talk ;) Let focus on our LC…This is LC forum

But the Kia download is great. There was this episode of East Bound and Down when Will Farrell turns to Kenny Powers and says you ruined everything. I used to sell BMWs Kenny, now I sell fucking Kias.

Everyone, clearly something is off with the OP and his intentions.
He bought the land cruiser 250, was unhappy with it and traded it in for a Ford Raptor. All good. Those things are awesome. But why waste time to come on here to bash the LC. Every vehicle is not right for every person. There is no 1 perfect vehicle. Choices...
Why not stay on the Raptor forums to discuss the positive attributes of that truck in a positive manner?

Dude is just a shit stirrer, that’s all.

To my mind they aren't really similar in any meaningful way.

The KIA is a unibody so articulation is going to be limited, while the LC is a body on frame, so it will have far more articulation.

The KIA is an AWD system while the LC is a true 4WD system with one of the best advanced traction control systems in the business in the form of MTS.

I get the point about the tires, but Toyota traditionally has put less than great tires on their vehicles.

Well proof is in the pudding folks . this forum is crowded by 99 percent morons . And here is why:

I created a thread to discuss the few known tips and tricks when it comes to to off-roading and it got 0 replies

Then a post abiut how Kia’s street car some how has more clearance and flat folding seats and there are 3 pages of anger fueled hysteric responses on how dare you criticize Toyota it is perfect that way it is

Let’s get back to the usual hotly debated topics by the fellow brainiacs here

1. Why is my mpg so low
2. I got 4mpg improvements by removing my cross bars
3. How to crack the mpg formula and get 29 mog
4. How much mpg hit by removing the front plastic valance
5. I broke my windshield
6.can I put 87 in my truck when 91 is recommended. What’s the mpg hit
6. I put pff and ceramic coating on my offroad truck
7. Look the gx550 engines are failing. What a great decision I have made and quietly rejoicing the their issue

Let’s change the name to landfieldforum and call it done

Those two videos were very informative. Almost any vehicle has strengths and weaknesses. The key is finding out about those strengths and weaknesses (by testing them i.e. playing) before you end up in a position of trouble.

I am sorry you didn’t bond with your Land Cruiser. I hope your current ride better meets expectations.

Oh great one, please enlighten us morons on the ways you have achieved superior intellect and greatness. We grovel for your approval! :ROFLMAO:

“Nobody commented on the post I wanted them to comment on and they all called me dumb for my dumb post here and now I’m mad at the whole forum.” Ok buddy.

Trolls are best ignored. I should follow my own advice.

It hardly warrants your screed, but if I understand your point generally, it’s something like “Kia put bigger tires and has more ground clearance on its unibody and that proves Toyota screwed up.” Many of us are merely saying “no, it doesn’t, because the tires and ground clearance on a cross over are not fit for purpose, and frankly, whatever tires you decide for your Land Cruiser will ultimately be determined by your choices not those of the manufacturer, but it’s a genuine body on frame vehicle with a ton of very useful offroad tools.” Could Toyota have put 34’s on the stock vehicle or had an additional inch of ground clearance? Sure, but the relatively small percentage of people for whom that would have made a difference are likely to just get bigger tires of their choice. What Toyota did not do is make a vehicle that merely looks capable but actually isn’t, which is apparently what Kia did. This is a dumb thread and I feel dumber for having participated in it.

Wasn't going to reply, but looking at the photos of the Kia helped bring into focus one of the things that I like about my 250.

It doesn't look like a modern design-take interior. It makes me think of what it would look like if someone said, make a J60 or J80 interior but with modern materials and electronics. And I like that vibe a lot more than the "fully modern" interiors.

As others have said, if you love your 250 (I do) great. If you don't, that's fine, I hope you find something you love. I may not like what you choose, but who the hell cares what I think other than me?
