I was in a drive through earlier today and noticed a sound coming from the drivetrain when the LC was moving forward on the electric motor. It almost sounded like a very quient clicking or clunking sound that coincided with the vehicle speed up, but at a crawl. As I pulled away the engine started and I really couldn't hear it anymore. I've had my LC since fall of last year and it has about 7k miles on it. No issues so far, just some noises that, after reading through this forum, seem to be normal. But this is a new one that I cannot quite relate to anything experienced by anyone on here. I can try get a video if I hear it again but it's incredibly subtle and not sure if my phone would pick it up. I have no intention of taking it to the dealer yet since this seems like one of those "we can't reproduce it" things.

Mine makes a weird clicking noise similar to what you describe too. Some strange rattles (heat shields underneath?) when I’m stopped with it in gear too. The sounds it makes are my least favorite part of the vehicle but I’m assuming it’s part of the deal with the hybrid thing. It moves along and handles well so all good there.

Yeah, I've noticed it at drive thrus and parking garages at low speeds when my window is down...almost like a sewing machine sound

That's a good way to descibe it. I wonder if this would fall under the category of just another noise these hybrid drivetrains make.
