"Diesel-like" Sound

Totally agree that the GT86 sound tube was legit. Unfortunately in my GR86 they went to speaker sounds and it is total fakery, not a mic and speaker just fake sound. It's not awful, but it is definitely fake. I'd bet the farm that the LC is the same.

Looks like I'm in good company! One of the first things I disabled was that fakeness. I have an aftermarket exhaust and it was way too much.

I'm at 12,100 miles. Is it just me or does anyone else notice that the diesel-like sound is less noticeable, and the engine just seems to run smoother and meaner with that turbo spool sound.

I have, and I actually think it drives a whole lot like the turbo diesel I used to have, in feel and sound.

Completely agree with this comment. Drives much like a VW turbo diesel and sounds kind of similar.

For those that have modified the sounds settings via Carista, are there any concerns on warranty nullification with modifying factory settings?
