Dogs and Cruisers

This is my dog Atlas. He's an 85 pound English Setter. He's almost too tall for the back seat.

I put an Amazon seat cover on the back seat so that when the snow is melting off of him from our latest snow bike ride that it doesn't get all over the leather. All in all, I'm satisfied with the cover. It isn't a perfect fit, but is functional.

So far the 250 is a great adventure/dog rig.

Great dog! Ours is extremely lazy, but she's great for the fam. Don't have a picture of her in the Cruiser yet... she drools all over the hard plastic bits.

Hello! I am a new 1958 owner. Previous 6 years with a 4Runner. I bought “Elsie” to give me reliable full time 4 wheel drive and room in the back for my German Shepherd’s crate. I am having a ball with this rig!! I train tracking dogs. FYI, my other car is a Revel!

What is that bumper mat?

I keep my knuckleheads crated when they're in the car. Keeps them squared away in the event of an accident and keeps them from becoming projectiles or getting loose and getting hit on the highway after an accident. They know when Lambchop is going it's going to be a fun trip.

It’s quite a thick rubber material and protects the bumper nicely - Fred jumps in easily and it clips against the grill

Pleeeease tell me they are named Zeus and Apollo??

Suggest getting a nice rear seat cover, the pups love riding in the back seat over the cargo area

nice. what sizes are those rufflands? both backseats are up? full forward on the recline setting?
edit: on second look, both seats are likely folded down. ha.

Will do! Just need some kind of extension for the support leg as annoyingly, the door doesn’t open far enough.

I bought the same ones and need to use the side door also. I ended up returning them and am still looking for something. Currently, I have a folding step stool, but it's not working out that well either. I wish we could open the side door further.

I've been using this foldable stair for my dog. He's >10 years and about 100 pounds. I've got larger tires and it's a big jump up and down.

I've been happy with it so far. I haven't even tried to use to access the back seat, but I'll have to try now.

What size rufflands are those? Also did you have to put down the back seats to fit them?
