I have the brake noise in reverse too.
It’s such a minor annoyance that I rarely think about it. I’ll bring it up again at the 15K service. No big deal, but it technically is a reliability or QDR issue.
A lot of “unreliable” car brands in JD Power or CR data suffer from minor problems that still count statistically as problems, but they don’t prevent safe operation on a day to day basis.
As a kid I remember seeing cars or trucks broke down on the side of the road. Not every day but frequently enough it wasn’t unusual.
Now I almost never see that outside of dude’s towing too much in the Black Hills on a hot day trying to go too fast. It’s not even the truck, it’s the trailer tires being blown up all the time.
Of course I also don’t own a 3rd Gen Tundra, a 3rd Gen Sequoia, a GX550, or an LX600 or LX700. If I did I could stand a legit chance of being stranded with a blown up engine.
