Changed my oil today and didn’t realize my arm was dirty when I took it for a test drive after. What kind of cleaning products do you all use for the interior? I assume I have to use something that is gentle as this fake leather.

I use the armor all cleaning wipes (matte finish) on all interior surfaces of my 1958. I even use them on the seats and roof liner. For the $$, there is nothing easier and better. Anything else is overkill IMO.

never thought about the roof liner. This one?

Back in 1980, I bought my first brand new car, a two door Buick Skylark, 4 cylinder, 4 speed, black and chrome Buick mag wheels, and a few other niceties. I ordered it just the way I wanted. When It finally came in, I babied it. Of course, that meant I used Armor All on everything. After a few years, the plastic interior was literally crumbling away before my very eyes. Now I am gun shy to use it again. So now it is just a damp microfiber for Miss Daisy.

the armorall matte wipes are nothing like the shiny spray we used to use on our cars in the 80s and 90s. My 1983 Cutlass (same car as your’s) interior also fell apart, and not because of cleaning spray because I never used any lol.

On a different note, my first car was a 1969 Buick Skylark GS! Oh yeah, I used armor all matte wipes on my Ford GT and on my M5 without a second thought. I had much more to lose on those.

I have had similar experiences with Armor All. Now I don't use it at all...... since I started using VRP, the other products I've tried, Ive since thrown in the trash.

I has been the best water proofing for my concrete driveway I've ever accidently used......lol
