Bear spray is not legal in British Columbia. Here in Canada, wiper fluid is sold in Celsius settings, I would get -40C or -60C wiper fluid, it’s sold everywhere.

Bear-spray is a legal product regulated by Health Canada but individuals can only purchase it for use in wilderness situations. Individuals carrying bear spray or pepper spray in their pocket while walking in urban areas may be charged for carrying a concealed weapon under s. 90 (1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Yes Canada has regulations, which are sometimes/ often onerous and verbose. Bear spray is subject to a bylaw in Vancouver BC I believe. I guess council thought they needed that to make sure folks realized that Vancouver is not a wilderness situation.

I would check your source on bear spray, I'm pretty sure that it is legal in BC. You may have a municipality or city that restricts the sale of it, but in terms of the actual Criminal Code, it is not illegal to possess. The key factor is intent; if you plan on using it for the purpose of wildlife protection, then you're good. You throw some electrical tape on it to make it all black and walk around downtown Vancouver, then you may be in for some trouble.

I doubt the odds you could encounter bears during winter in the BC mountain. However I do had wolves experience in deep winter, though I am not sure any spray would work well on them. They also have a different intend than bears, which most of the time doesn’t see you as source of food but annoying human beings.

It took seven attempts before the Elusive Key Fob Start functioned. I repeated this process four times, and each time it functioned properly. The app function did work previously; however, it failed to function after numerous attempts to use the key fob. I believe it is a matter of circumstance. Here is my observation. Perhaps it may work. Nothing to lose, Try it. The first time the Lock button on the Key fob is clicked and while the Flasher blinks momentarily, The second time you must have the lock button. depressed instantly, while the Flasher of the first time indicates. This is what I observed. Not wait for it This is quite complex, and the third time, press the button hold for 3-4 seconds. Between the First and Second presses, is what the secret remains.
