The LC comes with pretty conservative wheel offsets, and could definitely benefit from something a bit more aggressive.

Anyone else planning to swap out wheels once their LC shows up?

These are the first aftermarket wheels I’ve seen installed so far.

pretty much we can copy those 4th gen Tacoma aftermarket wheels, except those 17" because they don't clear Land Cruiser and Hybrid Tacoma brakes.
I agree the +60 offset on stock wheels is too conservative, I also don't want to poke out the fender, so I'll first play with spacers and determine the exact offset I want, and depending on that result maybe I'll get these in +45 size and tweak it with extended studs and spacers, or +20 without spacers if the poke is not ridiculous

If 17s can fit on the GX550, then so should the LC....
Already a few GX's posted with 17" wheels on them. I know some media outlets report 17" brake rotor, but thats wrong. GX550 has 13.9", we arent getting 3" bigger.

I really like the look of the HFX-1 in either matte gunmetal or terra bronze (my incoming FE is Meteor Shower).

They also come in a 20x9 with +18 offset which would be about 9mm more inward than the white one above.

The WIldpeak A/T4W comes in a 275/60/20 which is a true 33" and is an SL tire unlike many of their other sizes which are E load rating.

Best thing to do is ceramic coat them before having tires installed. I've done this on my last 3 cars and it makes a world of difference!

they spoke to Toyota and they are saying Tacoma hybrid and Land Cruiser can't use 17" because hybrids have larger rotors.

Toyota does in fact list the brake rotor diameter as 17", but they must be referring to the size of the entire assembly...or maybe it's just a typo.

A 17" rotor is massive and would be on par with something like the Lamborghini Urus. At this point we are talking 21-22" wheels and not 18s.

I really hope it fits well with 20 offset. I want to put 275 70 18 on those fuel.

That is a lot of poke for +15.

Any thoughts on desired offset to order to achieve just a little wider than fender if not in line?

I would say probably no more than a +40mm. Below is what a +47.5mm offset looks like.

It's also a 9.5" wide wheel whereas stock is 8", so overall this pushes the edge out 64mm compared to stock.

For comparison.

9" wide +15 would be 6mm less
8" wide +15 would be 19mm less

Vossen also has a 20x9 +18 version of this wheel which would be 9mm less. I don't think the 17 or 18" options they have with +0 offsets would be a good choice.

I spoke with Westcott yesterday about offsets, and it sounds like 8.5” wide +35 offset is going to be the sweet spot. This is what they are running on both the LC (the blue one in the middle) and GX550 they’ve do so far and it looks pretty amazing!

I ended up pre-ordering their just-released lift kit yesterday, and as of now am planning to go with the Method 703 in 17x85 +35 with KO2s in 315/70/17 (which is a 35 with a C load rating and T speed rating - the same tire that comes on the Raptors).

Still kind of on the fence whether I go with matte black or bronze. I have a Meteor Shower FE coming.

Yeah....no way these have 17 inch rotors. Urus and Audi RS6 have 17.6 inch rotor and those are the largest fitted to any production vehicle. They probably mean that the minimum clearance is 17 inches for the entire assembly.
