I’ve ordered a 2025 Premium. The only option that I could see for wheels was the 20’s. As soon as I tried to select the 18’s it removed premium package as if I couldn’t have premium with 18’s. I ordered with 20’s anyway but I see so many reviews of people with premium with 18’s. How did people spec it with 18’s? Are we just crippled on Canadian versions and it’s been decided for us? There’s always some differences between markets that makes no sense.

You are probably crippled like us down here in the States. Just picked up my LC base with premium package and was press ganged the 20 in wheels which I didnt want but couldn't get the dealer to change. Tried several dealers and it was pretty much the same story. They all blame the regional distributors or feign ignorance….

It’s why I didn’t do premium. Didn’t want those wheels and didn’t want to spend the money to throw them away and buy 18’s. It’s a bit ridiculous

Think of it as Toyota supplying you with 4 or 5 full size 20” spares for the street , what other 4x4 does that?

Toyota decides what to send to the dealers, and in most large urban areas in the US they almost always put 20" wheels on any LC with the premium package. I put winter tires on them and bought Tacoma 18" wheels for the rest of the year. (See tire and wheel spreadsheet in my signature if you're viewing this on the web.)

We’re just crippled here in Canada for options. In the US I could choose a non-premium with java SoftTex & without sunroof, also without 20’s or at least a premium without 20’s, at least in theory. Here I may as well choose premium.

Yea when I bought my LC premium I didn't see any anywhere in Northern California that came with 18s. Sounds like that may have changed a little. luckily i really like the 20" wheels much better than the 18s although I'm getting some 18" method 316 wheels that are 3 months old tomorrow for $600 hahahahaha

My land cruiser first edition came with 18 inch wheels. I purchased 17 inch wheels so that I could run the Mickey Thompson Baja, 285/70/17 tires, which I love!
