18" vs 20" wheels on the Land Cruiser mid-trim w/ premium package

In a major urban area and had to go to a dealer five hours away to find one without the 20s.

Colorado has 20” wheels on the premiums, mostly.

It might be shocking to think that maybe most people want them. Not necessarily the tiny slice of us who read Internet forum posts about cars.

I got my LC with PP with 18 inch wheels from Hansel in Petaluma and they had a few more on order with 18's. Added bonus no other options on mine or most of what they are getting.

Premium LC gets 20" wheels as standard here in oz - probably because they tend to be drive around town cars, drop the kids off for sport not really for 4 wheel driving, it doesn't even have a rear locker. They dedicated a model to 4 wheel driving calling it the Altitude which comes with 18" alloys, suspension disconnect etc.

Mine has 18" rims as well, and I paid 3K less than sticker (for that reason I think) but I liked the fact that it didn't have several K worth of dealer add ons that I didn't want, and the 18s were fine with me. Unfortunately, it was NOT the color I wanted and I regret that decision almost daily as it shows every speak of dust and dirt...................
