Check this one out…Diff drop or not?If you off-road and don’t want to kill your cv axles I’d highly recommend a diff drop. Easy install and not allot of money, cheap insurance.
Also looks like you have allot of poke so that just adds to the leverage working against the CV axles.

I watched that video when it came out and decided no on diff drops, but the 250 is a different platform.
So did you go with diff drop?I watched that video when it came out and decided no on diff drops, but the 250 is a different platform.
So easy and looks so much better.Took off all 4 pieces of the air dam.
Very easy and happy with the results.

This is mine without diff drop (see photos)None of the negatives in his video apply to the LC250 diff drop and the diff still adequately clears the skid and is protected by cross member as well. No reduction in ground clearance, better cv angles and pinion angle only changes by 1 degree.
Nothing negative I can see and ICON, Dobinsons and others require the diff drop on anything at or over 2” in for their warranties to apply.
Plus if your running extended travel coils, UCAs and we are full time 4WD everything he talks about not applying to the generation of Toyotas the video was made for applies to the 250 series.
Short story = cheap insurance for this platform IMHO, with no negatives.
Haven't yet but probably will.So did you go with diff drop?
That looks like ride height, right? This is mine without diff drop (see photos)
2” rear lifted King Shocks+Dobinsons Springs (accommodated permanent up to 170lbs load)
front King Shocks+Total Chaos UCA: leveled to rear (probably 2.5-2.75” raised ?)
Yes. The photos taken at level / ride height. That looks like ride height, right?
What does it look like at full droop?
Installed JDM OEM illuminated door sills. Extremely easy upgrade, took less than 10 minutes. I followed the instructions in this great video:

Beautiful dog!Installed Bison Gear’s complete cargo area offerings. Still some tweaking to do to appease my OCD, symmetry needing brain, but overall very impressed. It was Bucky the Maligator approved too.
Aside: Bison Gear answered my questions, processed my order and shipped it from Poland to my door in 13 days. That’s one day longer than it took Victory to respond to an email IRT their equitable product. Significantly cheaper too.
