Just got a new to me Wescott roof rack and it came with a drivers side Molle panel.

It has roto pax mounts on it currently. My question is what are people using the Molle panel for besides roto pax?
We road trip alot, camping consist of hotel rooms. The roof rack will be used for luggage and supplies and extra room and storage for “stuff” I have no idea what to use the Mille panel for.

FYI: I do not need to carry extra fuel.

Those molle panels are used mostly for overland / off-grid camping / off-road (in remote areas)
With those, when the roof is packed with RTT, full storage boxes, people can carry more gears and quickly access when need such as extra fuel, water, recovery stuffs, shovels, etc.
Road trip with hotel-night people may not need those molle panels, unless if they “looks cool” to them 😜
I saw in YouTube review, 1 guy (yellow wheels LC) had that Westcott complete set installed (roof rack and molle panels) and said he wanted it just for the “muscular look” and never hit the dirts.
