Why would anyone think this is bizarre behavior? Ask yourself would you be satisfied if your wife, daughter, mother was raped and the convicted perp walked away without a day of jail time all while blaming the system and people in it and then was elected to run a country. Would you be satisfied with the result? If this person gets a day in jail it will be a disgrace.

Diminished Value claim came out to $1364... womp womp. In the end it was mostly the tailgate and some bumper pieces so maybe that's right. It should cover new tires or wheels though.

The insurance company is going to insist that they've done a through inspection and your car is returned to like new, or at least like it was at the time, condition.

A prospective buyer is going to assume the worst and make an offer accordingly.

Neither are really wrong or right.

But you've got a lot of documentation of exactly what happened. I'd keep that in case you want to sell later. If I were buying a used LC 10 years from now and it had an accident on its record but someone was selling it with the level of documentation you have I'd be a lot more comfortable buying and knowing exactly what I was getting. Particularly if you keep the video of the accident itself; while not entirely definitive, it greatly supports the idea that there's no frame damage.
