Unscientific Brake Squeal Poll

I have complained to the dealer, brand management and opened an arbitration case with no resolution. Still have reverse brake squeal. Likely the last Toyota product for me. Who knows when they will release a fix?

I selected "Yes, but infrequently.", but in actuality, it happened to me twice and has never happened again.

Did you spray WD-40 on them or something else?

First they have to diagnose it. They have a history of fixing things.

I didn't do anything...it resolved itself.

Oxidation is the enemy of brake pads. If you live in a damp environment, it can happen overnight.
If you baby your brakes all the time, it WILL increase incidence.
Brakes squeal....take it up to 80 and stand on them hard. Burns off the buildup.. nothing new in the auto world

Thirty days in (1,600mi), I've had my first encounter this morning. Didn't hear it while running errands afterwards... maybe just a morning this for my LC.
