Trim Noise at Highway Speeds

[Bug!]

I'm new to this forum and late to this discussion - but I wanted to respond since it doesn't seem that anyone has directly addressed your issue. I am having the exact same problem on my new, 2026 LC. I've noticed an almost buzzing or rattling sound at high speeds, particularly when there is a cross-wind. Sure enough, on both sides of the windshield, these trim pieces that you have circled are still perfectly attached, but they are just loose enough to start vibrating in high winds. Fact is, when the car is parked, I can tap on the top of these molding pieces and hear them "click" as they slightly flex and hit the metal roof. I haven't reached my 10k servicing, so I've simply stretched a piece of black electrician's tape down the molding and slightly onto the windshield to hold them down. [I cleaned the windshield well to get the tape to stick.] The force of the wind acts to hold the tape down and so it hasn't come off and it's been there for more than a month. It's completely solved the problem. It's barely noticeable, but still funny to have tape holding down trim on a brand new vehicle! I'll see if the dealership can use some 3M tape or replace the molding at my first service appointment.

Hi, I'm from Australia. In my 2025 Toyota LC250 diesel is wind noise from front wind from the front door mirror, but if the wind is blowing from the back or side is very quiet!
