TRD Pro Tundra Wheels

Finally got these mounted up. Picked up brand new takeoffs way cheap off Facebook marketplace. Found a post I think on here about the 4Runner and Taco anniversary bronze center caps fitting tundra pro wheels as I didn’t care for the red TRD caps.

Sure enough, looks way better and these wheels have perfect offset for my taste (and only 5mm off from what icon recommends). Plus they are a forged wheel as well as lighter with correct width for larger tires.

Planning on a lift with larger tires when more options hit the market. Not sold on a preload lift as it does kill travel and ride quality a little bit off-road.

None at all, these are basically OEM size tires, just wider. These were the stock tires that come standard on Tundra TRD Pro so were already on the wheels when I picked them up. Icon has an awesome video and basically can go to a 34” easy without rubbing on this offset.

How much is 'way cheap'? I couldn't find anything less than $1700/4 when I was looking. I opted for the '24 Tacoma TRD wheel, same weight and offset, way cheaper.

No compatibility issues with stud/lug or hub bore specs? I'm looking to get some Tundra wheels myself, so this is reassuring.

Hi OP, just put a set of these on my LC, takeoffs from a 2024 Tundra TRD Pro, any issues with TPMS? Discount Tire wasn't able to help... I've started the process of trying to register them per the owner's manual but so far still --- on the dash.

I’m still rocking no TPMS, haven’t put effort in to either take ones out of OEM wheels (assuming they are the same) or buy new ones.

Love the setup with the tundra wheels. Considering the same setup. You did your height change with the 285’s? Or no difference ride height since they are just wider mostly.

I think that was a typo and should have said $2700/4...

Old thread, had to refresh my memory... at the time, I was finding the knockoffs for $1700/4 all over the place, no idea what they are fetching now. Had found a set of the BBS for $2700/4, $3300/4 with stock Tundra Wildpeak AT3s.

I can find them on marketplace from $1,300 to $2,000 but when used who knows the condition. It also doesn't help that the few LC's around town I've seen, two have had these wheels which is a nice OEM+ upgrade but perhaps too common for me.

Has anyone used these wheels with the tpms from the 250? Or do you have to use sensors from the tundra\sequoia?

i also run these exact wheels and tires and paid 1700 for the entire package (wheels and tires). the only thing i did to ensure it worked was to swap my orig tpms sensors over to the new wheels. what's great about using 285/65/18 tires is they are the same diameter as stock so i don't need to swap out the spare tire (the guy only sold me 4 wheels and tires). the hub bore size is also the same so no need to run hub rings. the offset makes the wheel and tire look flush to the fender which adds to a mild aggressive look. one thing i do want to point out is the oem (toyota spec) falken wildpeak at3 are different than the versions you find in stores/online retailers like discount tire, mavic, etc. they look almost identical but the toyota spec tires have less tread depth and have less aggressive raise to the lettering and design of the sidewall.

Thanks for verifying the original tpms sensors fit the Pro wheels.

The wheels in the OP are forged, so I think they do command a higher price than cast take-offs that we see more often.

I have a set of Tundra TRD wheels on mine, but they are the 20” variety and I believe are cast. I paid $800 for four plus $150 more for aftermarket TPMS. They look great, but I happen to favor 20” wheels on these.

The TPMS were a complete pain in the ass. After six weeks of trying, following the manual to the letter over and over again and not seeing them connect, one fine day they did. No idea what was different on that day.

In about 6-8 weeks I’ll be putting my winter wheels and tires back on, which is where the OEM TPMS sensors are. That’s supposed to be an easier swap once the car has read all of the sensors but I dread doing it anyway.
