2) Can Canadian Residents buy Toyota VSC from a US dealer?

3) For the US folks that have the Toyota VSC can it be used in Canada if needed? (Does it have coverage in US and Canada?)

I'd suggest calling a Dealer and ask.

I have not personally tried, with that said, I have snowbird neighbors who are Canadian, they purchased a car for their Florida home, drove it home last summer, it needed work, they took it to a Toyota dealer in Canada and iirc they said there was (I want to say a $100) deductible because it was a Toyota VSA purchased in the States.

With that said, I would still reach out to Toyota Financial Services (they are the one who offer/fulfill the VSA) and see what they say.

Just found out now Washington State has recently passed a law like California. We can no longer buy the warranty out of state here in Washington.

I have a deposit on a LC, at a Washington Dealership. It should be ready in about 3 weeks.

Any feedback on the best person/dealership to purchase an extended warranty from, would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your LC. It’s a fantastic vehicle and we are so fortunate to get to own them.

Unfortunately with the recent changes in the Washington State Laws we can no longer purchase the warranty outside of WA. This means we lost our leverage (price matching) to negotiate with WA Toyota Dealers. I don’t know of any WA dealers that are offering it discounted. Perhaps one of our local forum members has some info.

the lowest i could get my purchase dealership down to was $3000 for the 10yr/100k option (which they started offering at $5500)

I requested a quote from website a few days ago and have not heard back. I sent him an email today so hopefully he gets it. (I could not find a phone number to call).

I just used his email. He was pretty responsive. You need a letter attesting to current mileage and a picture of your registration. He called me for payment this afternoon. It was still $2445.
