Anyone else have updates on the Toyo at3 EV tires? Specifically the 275/70/18 SL ones in the rain/snow/offroad?

Still loving mine. They've been great in rain and the 6" of snow we've had. They're quiet and have had little impact on my mpg. I would absolutely get another set of them.

Well, just like with everyone else, how you drive makes a huge difference. Driving back and forth to work, I can get 20-21 mpg consistently if I focus on driving gently. Driving back and forth from Maine to Ohio at 85mph, I get about 17-18. I fixed the whole problem by removing the fuel statistics from my dash display!

Love mine! Smooth ride, very quiet, great traction, no appreciable fuel consumption diff (around 22.4 MPG combined) and so far decent wearing. The shallow tread depth does concern me long term, but we shall see. I have around 15,000 km, mostly highway on them.

I have noticed zero negatives in wet/dry braking, zero negatives in handling, road holding, cornering. They feel "stickier" than the 20" Yokohama street tires did through my first 4600 km on, in a good way.

On my Jeep, I ran the OEM BFG KM mud tires for about six years and when they got so loud that I couldn't take it anymore, I swapped those for a set of BFG K02s. The K02s had that same sticky quality, whether on wet/dry road or the polished concrete of my garage floor. Based on my experience with the K02s I could well have went with the new K03s for the Land Cruiser, but the weight factor was my main reason for trying the Toyo Open Country AT3 EV tires instead.

I have a little more than 3000 km on my Toyos and I feel they are an upgrade in every way so far. I am still waiting to see how they do in snow, but Mother Nature hasn't dumped any on me (yet). I am not one to poke the Devil in the eye, so I won't provoke the mother of all blizzards. The Yokohama street tires the Land Cruiser was delivered with may well handle some weather, but the tread pattern didn't inspire serious confidence for tackling deep stuff.

33 PSI feels good around town and on freeway, though I definitely hear them more than the stock Michelins above 60 MPH. 40 PSI probably gets slightly better gas mileage, though I imagine you'll feel more of the road. I lost about 2 MPG mixed driving coming from the Michelins, keeping pressure the same.

I have tried mine at 33 psi, currently 35 psi. The dealership that installed them initially set pressure at 39 and I found 33-35 to be good so far.

That’s where I adjusted to as well. We’ll give that a go for a week or so and re-assess, but so far I like how that rides.

Can anyone share more photos of their LC with ATIII EV on the OEM 18's in 275/70 size?
I'm interested in this tire for my LC. I like that it is a relatively lightweight A/T option and SL rated in 275 size.

Toyota wheels, but not Land Cruiser specific. These have more offset than the stockers.

Here’s a photo on the FE OEM wheels. Still had some wax on them from the tire mount that I hadn’t cleaned off yet. Highway/ City combined I’m showing avg 1-2 MPG drop, which I’m completely fine with given the increased capabilities in an A/T tire.

Will the Toyo Open Country AT III EV SL fit as a spare underneath too? Sounds like the perfect tire for those with no mods. If it fits underneath I'm sold.

Toyo Open Country AT III EV SL in 275/70R18 (on BBS Pro 8.5" wide wheels) do fit in the spare location, though ground clearance with stock suspension is reduced slightly to just about 10" at the lowest point of the tire. Worth it.

Got my FE delivered with OEM Toyo ATIII. Daily Comfort, Quiet Highway Manners and real offroad capability. Got the Agressive Looks, Strong Offroad. The downside I personally feel less of steering, kinda muted. With the Sxth CAI, the mileage remains the same. Happy to keep the shoes rolling.
