On our recent cross country trip (NC to the Redwoods thread), we used the cool box a LOT. Keeping the soft drinks cold, makes the ice (from the nights stay in motels) in the Yetis last a lot longer during the long days of driving. And sometimes, we would evacuate the colas from the cool box, and put left overs from supper in there, if we were a ways from stopping at a hotel for the night.

Yep. I was surprised when I picked up my LC yesterday with the premium package. No cool box. In a strange way I was looking forward to having it. At the same time, I[m glad it's not there because it's a nice large space for storage now.
I just realized my '26 LC premium I am waiting for (was being built when I put the deposit down) doesn't have the cool box. I'm really torn here. It seems like a worthless but cool feature at the same time. Would I rather have the extra storage, or a "cool" feature I never knew I needed. I'm wondering how hard it would be to add it down the road, if I decided I just had to have it.
Might be worth a visit to the dealer to clarify your expectation on the cool box and if in fact the one you reserved has one. The dealer at the time of placing the deposit sent me their version of the factory sticker, which does not mention it, so I suppose they can say they are properly covered.
I'd also love to know what the difference is between a Head-Up Disolay and a Head-Up Display is

I use mine all the time when touring to cool down water bottles. It’s so easy to lift the lid and grab one out, so much better than warm water. What is it really, just the A/C ducted into the box?
I've thought about the same thing. That would be about the best of both worlds.
It has it's own system, a separate evap that's tied into the main AC freon system. Part #12 in the attached PDF.
OMFG... I've pressed and toggled SO many buttons.... sheeeeeit.Just a reminder that you can't turn off the AC when the cool box is turned on.
It is embarrassing to note how long I cycled through every combination of switch and button on the dash before I remembered.
Press button, toggle up/toggle down. That's not it, try another one. Nope. I know, maybe the rear is on. Not that either. How about this one. Press, press, toggle, toggle, press.....
I believe we all have done it at least once and there are many that won't admit it........LOL
And some of us have struggled, then learned this, then forgotten this, then struggled again before remembering.
