Squealing Brakes

Good morning all, sorry for the delay in update. Unfortunately after wheeling 4/26 the squeal is now back. Except now it only occurs when going forward. It only does it first thing in the morning and after a few brake applications it doesn't do it for the rest of the day. I have about 1500 miles on the pads.

Now I think I am going to swap back to OEM for now. The squeal when reversing wasn't a big deal as I pull out of driveway every AM as opposed to back out. Now I am sure i wake everyone up when leaving at 5:30am.

I am not sure if wheeling caused something but it starting the morning after. We drove through lots of water that day. The saga continues.
Did you use anti-squeel paste? Did you find a recommendation for or against using it on LC?
Also brake pads rated for higher temps such as track pads squeel until they warm up. I used them for track days but always went back to street pads after finishing because of the noise (and dust).

Toyota really needs to fix this. Mine squeal loudly every morning when I back out of my driveway. It is annoying and embarrassing.
Call Toyota Brand Mgmt at 800-331-4331. This is the only way we are going to get a fix.

Another update - approaching 3500 miles on the pads and the squeal is gone. It has still been chilly and wet in the mornings but it slowly started getting better and is now gone. I give up.

In summary, your experience was negative on the aftermarket PowerStop Z36 pads, but your reinstalled OEM pads are good so far?
